Lindsey Leavell began her painting career in the 1980's after studying at the University of Colorado, Department of Fine Arts and quickly became known for her bright colors inspired by Mark Rothko, and her spare shapes inspired by Milton Avery. Learn more.
Her paintings are held in private collections and can be seen on the album covers of Peter Kater and R. Carlos Nakai, magazine and book covers, and created as fine art giclés and greeting cards. Now working in Colorado, she produces original paintings and giclées available for purchase online.
